4. The “System Volume Information” folder.
Certainly, search can be spent in these folders but when you choose them the program will warn you that duplicate files removal in a system folder can break integrity of the system.
What to do with the found duplicate files?
The most obvious answer is to remove them. But Clone Remover offers some other variants that are to remove in the Recycle Bin, to move to a special folder and to copy. Advantages and disadvantages of these ways are obvious. The first variant offers not definitive removal of clones but term one – at any moment you can restore them in the system. It is also obvious that this way will not solve the problem of disk clean up completely. The second variant allows to create a special folder for keeping duplicate files, after all you can clear the Recycle Bin at any moment, having forgotten about clones stored there. This variant solves the given problem. Its disadvantage is the same - duplicate files continue to take place on the disk. The third variant is similar.
