File sync program
Program File Sync is a special one. It’s engaged in file synchronization and comparison of folders among themselves.
Probably, much of you had to face the following situation. You work with the colleague over the common project. When the work part has been made there was a necessity to complete work independently, keeping results in the folders – the copy of original project one.
After the result termination when partners have met there was a necessity to find out what changes they have brought in comparison with the original folder. The program works in one window which is visually broken into two sun-windows actually. In these sun-windows you also perform work in folders which are going to be compared. By the way, to load folders it’s necessary to take advantage of option Browse at the top of the program. In the program there are two such options – at the left and at the right corners. By the way, the program works by a task principle: it means that the comparison of folders occurs within the limits of each chosen pair or the task. The problem choice is carried out by the means of command File – New task.
The file sync program is very simple in usage. There is no necessity to study additional menu and tool panels. All you need is two minutes of practice. After that the program becomes “manual”.
As it has already been spoken above, the file sync program carries out two basic functions: the comparative analysis of folders and file synchronization. The first function is obligatory (naturally, within the limits of user’s problems), the second one depends on the results of the first one and your desire. If it’s short, the synchronization is an identification of the content of one folder with the content of another. After the comparative analysis the program shows in what places (that is in what files and folders) folders are similar and in what they are various. What differs is a synchronization subject.
