Today there is a considerable quantity of programs devoted to search and removal of duplicate files (for example, duplicate albums itunes). Clone Remover is one of them. It is also chosen by the program automatically. You can press “Next”.
The second window. If you have chosen the first option (and we have agreed, that you have chosen the first option) in the second window of the program you will need to define among what file types you are going to search for duplicate files. In the program there are such types: exact duplicate files (files with identical content), similar images, MP3 and other musical files, files with identical names and the sizes, empty files (files with the zero size). If to be exact Clone Remover has allocated two formats of files (musical type mp3 and images) and some more specific types of duplicates. It is easy to guess, that any files and clones which are stored on your computer can be carried to these types actually.
The third window. We name its search window. This window in which Clone Remover user chooses the folders and directories among which he’s going to search for duplicate files. Such parameter as duplicate file search time (about this see below) will depend, for example, on in what directories and locations the user will search for file clones like duplicate albums itunes. It is clear, that the more the folder size where duplicate files are searched, the longer search is - as the bigger size demands more computer resources.
The following stage is duplicate file search. The process is automatic therefore the Clone Remover user is nothing to do.
In the next window the program gives out the results of duplicate file search – how many, what and where. Here the user also should define what files he’s going to remove therefore in this window the user allocates the files (group of files) with which he’s going to work further.
