Today in there is huge variety of programs in file managers’ market. Each of them aspires to show advantages, advertises itself and tries to occupy some niche. It is not necessary for the program about which we’ll talk today - File Sync - to do this because it speaks about itself by its work.

Folders comparison in File Sync is spent thanks to «Analyze» using. For this purpose two compared folders are loaded into the program with «Browse» help. Any PC directories can be used as compared folders. The main thing is that you wanted to analyze the content of THESE folders.
After folders loading in File Sync take advantage of possibilities of «Analyze» command. This command carries out folders comparison after which the folders compare program gives out the answer – how much both folders can be considered to be similar or various. Besides, by means of the program you can receive evident representation about the content of each analyzed folder – its structure (that is what files and folders are entered into the analyzed folder), the size of each element (a file and a folder), as well as creation date.
As results of folders comparison the utility shows how these files in compared folders correspond among themselves by means of special signs. In the program there are three types of such signs – an arrow to the right, the arrow to the left and a circle. However, about the value of these signs we’ll talk another time.
