It’s easy to choose a directory for analysis – it is necessary to choose «Scan – Scan a folder», then to define what folder you want to scan and operate.
Besides, in this window of the disk and folder structure analysis tool you can receive primary data on folder structure – what folders are entered into this one as well as what their volume is. As a rule, such information allows to receive evident enough representation about disk structure or a studied directory, to reveal the largest folders and the directories included in the structure of the studied directory.
In the second window located on the right you can receive more exact representation about the disk, directory or the folder you’re going to analyze. What are entered into this representation? First, distribution of all folders included in the structure of the studied directory. Secondly, their size in megabytes (kilobytes, gigabytes, bytes). Thirdly, the structure and the maintenance of folders in files that is components which have certain extension, and carry out certain functions.
In this window you can also filter and sort the data, set parameters of search and many other things.
In the special window of visualization of the data the program allows to submit data visually in the form of schedules, circular diagrammes, as well as pies and bars. Pay attention that you can also keep the received results in a special file.
The last window is the window of the common data about the disk. In this one you can receive the information on current distribution of disk space between a logic disks of the system.
